• Kenya, the rose garden of Africa

Kenya lies on the equator in Eastern Africa at a height of between 1800 and 2500 metres. After coffee and tea, roses are Kenya’s most important export with hundreds of growers based on a few thousand hectares around Lake Naivasha. Kenya is most famous for its medium to large head sized roses.

    Daily flights to the Netherlands

Rosalink’s African partner in Nairobi is Hortilink. Kenyan roses are flown daily from the capital, Nairobi, to Amsterdam. Hortilink has contacts with at least 50 Kenyan growers and transports 6 to 7 times a week to the Netherlands.
